Bank of America Student Leaders Program If you are a student with a passion for improving your community, the Student Leaders Program would like to help you turn that passion into action. Bank of America is looking for leaders who are high school juniors and seniors in the US to participate in an eight-week paid internship at a nonprofit/charitable organization and a week-long Student Leadership Summit in Washington, DC (July, 2010) to gain valuable civic, social and business leadership skills. Governor's School The State of Tennessee provides twelve summer programs for gifted and talented high school students. These programs provide challenging and intensive learning experiences in these disciplines: Arts, Humanities, International Studies, Engineering, Science, Prospective Teachers, Scientific Exploration of Tennessee Heritage, Information Technology Leadership,and Agricultural Science. PAVE Program at Vanderbilt The 2010 PAVE program at Vanderbilt University, celebrating its 20th anniversary, is a summer pre-college program designed to strengthen the academic skills of students who are planning to enter a college engineering, pre-medical, science, or technology program, and ease the transition from high school to college. PAVE is open to high school students who are in the 11th grade (class of 2011) or 12th grade (class of 2010) during the 2009-2010 school year. Vanderbilt Sports Medicine Student Athletic Training Conference Vanderbilt Sports Medicine offers an annual Student Athletic Training Conference geared for students interested in Athletic Training, Physical Therapy and related health sciences.
